Family Matters

Had a chance to get a last minute session with a great family in the Shepherd Area. They were great to work with and had some fantastic kids! I really do look forward to experiences like this one.

Honor Guard

This past week my husband and two other officers from the CMU Police Department attended Honor Guard Training. I had a chance to witness their graduation ceremony which is set up as Full Honors Police Funeral. I was also granted access to take pictures at this event.

Police Academy

Over the spring the CMU Police Department hosted its first annual Citizen's Academy. They ran a group of students from the Justice Society through several lecture courses and a weekend training course. Students experienced everything from Defensive Tactics, Traffic Stops, Crime Scene Investigation, Building Searches and even Physical Training. I had the opportunity to be there for a few of the sessions and was able to get a few shots. I have not edited them too much but here's what I saw.

Emma Quinn

Just a couple pics of my main model. Em is great about me dragging her around so I can try new things and new locations.

The Wasp Incident

So last summer my husband and dad discovered a wasp nest in a tree at my parents house. This nest was right above the tire swing for the kids so something had to be done. Their sollution....Shoot it out of tree with a shotgun. Thank goodness my parents live in the country. Better yet I had my camera with me to catch this circus as it developed. As you can see my dad was very happy with the results.

Cowboy Clan

My kids dressed up as cowboys and cowgirls at the prompting of Ry Jr who is in love with Toy Story. Even Mar got into part when G'ma made her a horse costume. You think this is funny last year they were all M&M's. Kids are great!

Sisters

My two big girls. Em and Tater are never to far apart (even though the oldest would like her own space some times). I am very thankful that my girls are willing to have me practice with them.
